Sophie’s Book of Spells is a one-of-a-kind commission for a Harry Potter superfan’s 40th birthday. Frederic secretly gathered ‘spells’ from friends and family, which were a mixture of nostalgic memories and their favourite attributes about Sophie. I brought it all together into a spell book design, complete with hand-drawn illustrations that feel like they’ve been scribbled in the margins of a Hogwarts textbook. This project was a joy to work on, combining magical typography, thoughtful layout, and tons of personalised illustrations to bring it all to life. The best part? Sophie absolutely loved it.
